Remember, we have dedicated one quarter of this year to each of the four strands of life. We are to dedicate one-quarter of the year to concentrating on one strand because science tells us we are more likely to find success that way. Now, let’s look at what you must Do to make your Dream a Reality for the Me Strand. THE FOUNDATIONThe Foundation of The HOPE Bridge is REAL GOD-MADE FOOD. If you want to switch from your current to a healthier menu, the first step is to eat food as our grandparents ate. Food that wasn't adulterated with homemade chemicals. What that means is to avoid processed foods. Processed foods have been altered from their natural state in some way, generally by adding artificial flavors, preservatives, and other additives. They also contain refined grains, added sugar, excess sodium, synthetic additives, and other ingredients that can diminish their nutritional quality. Real God-made Food contains one or very few ingredients, which are usually things you recognize (e.g., “beef,” “broccoli,” etc.). Processed Human-made Food: Usually has a long ingredient list, including added sugars, flavor enhancers, colorings, and chemical preservatives. Real God-made Food has natural fibers intact that keep you satisfied for longer. Processed Human-made Food removes most of the fiber. Authentic God-made Foods are centered around whole, nutrient-dense foods linked with reduced risks of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. Processed Human Food contributes to weight gain, inflammatory responses, and other health issues.
