THE LETTER

If you completed the previous two assignments, do this next.

Take a moment and handwrite your Priority Haves for each of your strands of life in a letter.

For example…

I, Ronda, Have a size six body.

I, Seth, Call my aging mother every day.

I, Alice, volunteer every Sunday at my church.

I, Thomas, write 100 hundred pages in my book on how to be a mentor.

Once you Have completed your letter, seal it in an envelope. Put today’s date one year later on the back of the envelope, address it to yourself, and mail it to your home. If you want to take it to a new level, send it to me at 3808 Bayview Dr. Modesto, CA 95355. Once you receive it…

TUCK IT AWAY

Once you receive your Have letter, place it at the back of a drawer and set a reminder on your calendar to remind you to open it in one year. Whatever you do, please don't open it until that date.

You invite God's Infinite Intelligence onto your team by mailing this letter to yourself.

This exercise works incredibly well. Here is an exmaple. I needed to place some documents in our fireproof safe. We keep the key in a secret drawer. When I opened the drawer, I found a letter I had written years ago. I opened it and found three wishes I had written. In a nutshell, it said:

  1. We would own a fancy little motorhome. (It had my vision in detail)
  2. We would travel across the country in our new motor home. (I wrote about how we would dilly-dally between California and Florida.)
  3. We would spend weeks instead of days with our grandchildren who live all around the US.

We did all three.

Vicky reminded me that we not only traveled across the country but did it THREE times in the first year.

'If you want to achieve, do this! I know it works!

HAVING SUMMARY

Make an extensive list of what you desire for your physical being first. (You can repeat this with all four strands of life: Me, US, THEM, and HIM)

Do Three-Six breathing. (Inhale seven times minimum for a count of three and exhale for a count of six)

Visualize your desires floating past you (sit on a bench overlooking somewhere beautiful you've been to).

Choose the most prominent one. (Choosing the most difficult or most procrastinated desires is best.)

It is necessary to have at least one Have for each Life Strand. As you can see in my example above, there were three components, but they are really one, written in three sentences.

Please write a letter about your desires for each strand of life and mail it to yourself or me if you wish. (seal it, send it, hide it away, and open it one year from now.)

Our Self-Discipline Protocol will get you to the finish line in half the time and sometimes even a third of the time of what you suspect it will take.

For your body, mind, and loved ones' sake, please take the steps provided as they are released.

One Final Note

The more self-disciplined you are, the more successful you will become in ALL areas of your life.
