The Art Of Self-Discipline - "What's Love Got To Do With It?"

MIND OPTIMIZATION

THE ART OF SELF-DISCIPLINE #6

Sponsored by the "Third Act " Optimizers

Now that you know how to set Eulogy, Quarterly, and Weekly Have Goals, Purge your Pantry to rid yourself of temptation, and how to Routine Success, next is that you'll need to fuel the vehicle over the bridge from one side of the canyon to the other side where your have goal sits.

THE FUEL

EMOTION PROPELS SUCCESS

In the first step of building our HOPE Bridge, we decided that our Me-Strand Have Goal was to weigh 135 pounds.

In the second step, our Me-Strand Be example was to be a Mesomorph whose weight is "just right."

Our initial Be to Have Me-Strand affirmation is:

  • "I am a Mesomorph (Be) who weighs 135 pounds (Have)."

We then learned that we must build a bridge to connect our Be and Have. I call this connection the HOPE Bridge. The bridge has three components.

The first component of The Do Bridge to weigh 135 pounds is the foundation:

  • The Foundation to optimize hormones, weight, health, and mind begins with eating God-made food, or, in other words, avoiding processed human-made food.

The second component of The HOPE Bridge is the vehicle:

  • The initial vehicle we drive across the bridge to optimize our hormones, weight, health, and minds is the Meso Menu, a low glycemic gourmet menu of clean animal proteins and high-fiber vegetables. The key to The Meso Menu is consuming foods that keep insulin low.

The third component of The HOPE Bridge is the fuel that powers the vehicle..

  • To achieve anything we wish, we must experience the emotion we will have when we reach our goal before we have achieved it. After coaching patients and clients for four and a half decades, I have found that the one emotion that is the highest grade of fuel, the rocket fuel of success, is love.

LOVE

"The fuel that propels you toward any goal the fastest is love."

Here is an example of how love propels us.

You are at the park. It is a beautiful spring-like day. The sun is shining, and there is a slight breeze. You're pushing your child on the toddler swing. Near the swing is a water fountain. You go to get a swig, and before you know it, someone wearing a hoodie is taking your child out of the swing.

  • Your love for your child propels you to run faster than ever.
  • Your love for your child propels you to be stronger than ever.
  • Your love for your child makes you more determined than ever.

You grab hold of your child and yank it from the hooded intruder with tenacity.

Here is another example: you've graduated from college. You meet this girl while camping and can't get her out of your thoughts. She didn't ignore you, but didn't entirely act as if she was attracted to you. You get her number from a friend and call her. Then you go out on a date. She tells you that she doesn't want a boyfriend at this time of her life, but you still can't get her out of your head. You keep calling and talking to her late at night as you two fall asleep. You wake up one day and have been married to her for thirty-five years.

You were tenacious to be a married man and have her as your wife because of love.

“You grab hold of the loves of your life with tenacity.”

Tenacity is the unwavering determination to stay the course and achieve your goal, no matter the obstacles.

"Love is tenacious."

To be successful at achieving your me, us, them, and Him goals, love is the key because loves foster tenaciousness.

"Be tenacious in your pursuit of your goals today."

Hi! I'm Doc Mac.

I have practiced hormone and weight optimization for over forty-five years. I retired 10 years ago; at least, that is what I thought. When I retired, my wife and I owned and operated several medical clinics specializing in hormone and weight optimization. We discovered that as a woman enters menopause, her hormones become disrupted, causing many women to gain weight rapidly, and no matter what they do, not be able to lose it. If that has happened to you, text me at 209-345-9799. I have found that those who text me are serious about creating the body they desire. Once I receive your text, I will find a convenient time for you to speak with me. During our conversation, I will customize a gourmet weight loss menu for you, and tweak it until it works. Our menus have no caloric restrictions or frequency of meals. There is no charge! 👍 Doc

"Doc, once I turned 50 years old, my anxiety levels skyrocketed. Especially in the morning. What caused this?" As you age, your estrogen levels are not the only hormone to wane. STRAND ONE HORMONE OPTIMIZATION Estrogen’s Role in Vitality & Mood Reader, Let’s talk about a hormone that deserves a standing ovation: estrogen. I know! I know! I sometimes make estrogen sound like a bad girl, but it's not estrogen that's so bad; it's the imbalance between estrogen and progesterone that causes all the problems.
