You Might Be Motivated...But are you EMPOWERED

MINDSET HACK

Every Thursday, Vicky and I give you one simple thing to try from one of the four areas we look at when someone tells us:

"I've tried everything, but I still can't lose the weight."

HORMONES → WEIGHT → HEALTH → MINDSET

This week, we're working on MINDSET.

Because sometimes what keeps you stuck isn't knowing what to do.

It's trusting yourself enough to keep doing it.

1 THING YOU SHOULD KNOW

You don't need more motivation. You need to trust yourself.

Think about how many times you've told yourself:

Monday I'll start.

Tomorrow I'll walk.

Tonight I'll go to bed earlier.

This time I'm really going to do it.

Then life happens.

You miss a day.

Then another.

Eventually, Monday becomes next Monday.

Here's what I want you to consider:

Every time you repeatedly make yourself a promise and don't keep it, you teach yourself that your own word doesn't mean very much.

Fortunately, the opposite is also true.

Every promise you keep becomes evidence that you're someone you can count on.

That's where discipline begins.

1 THING YOU SHOULD DO

Choose ONE small promise you will keep every day for the next seven days.

Not five.

Not a complete weight-loss overhaul.

One.

Walk for 20 minutes.

Stop eating after dinner.

Drink your water.

Get into bed by 10:00.

Take five minutes every morning to visualize the person you're becoming.

Pick yours.

Then keep your word.

WHY YOU SHOULD DO IT

Because weight-loss resistance isn't always about food.

You can have the perfect menu sitting in the refrigerator and still not follow it.

You can understand your hormones and still stay up until midnight.

You can know exactly what would move you forward and keep telling yourself:

Tomorrow.

That's why mindset belongs alongside hormones, weight, and health.

Your Third Act isn't created by one heroic decision.

It's created by hundreds of ordinary decisions that eventually begin to say:

This is who I am now.

You're not simply developing a mindset to lose weight.

You are also developing the mindset that keeps it off.

YOUR 7-DAY CHALLENGE

Write this sentence somewhere you'll see it:

For the next seven days, I promise myself I will ____________.

Then do it.

Every day.

Especially on the day you don't feel like it.

Seven days. Seven promises kept.

Don't worry about being perfect at everything else.

For this experiment, we're rebuilding one thing:

Your trust in yourself.

ONE QUESTION

What is one promise you could keep for seven days that would make you proud of yourself next Thursday?

Hit reply and tell me.

I read them.

IN ONE SENTENCE

Vicky and I help women and men who have tried everything to lose weight, and nothing has worked. And we'll let you test our approach on your own body, for free.

THIS WEEK'S USIE

[Prince Rupert, Canada — August 2026]

Doc & Vicky Mac

We still have so much of the world to see. That's one reason we're determined to stay capable, healthy, and young enough to see it.

P.S. Next Thursday is different.

You've now received one Hack on each of the four areas we look at:

Hormones. Weight. Health. Mindset.

Next week is PROOF WEEK.

I'll introduce you to someone who also felt like she'd tried everything.

You'll see what happened when we stopped asking her to try harder and started looking for what was holding her back.

And if her story sounds a little like yours, I'll give you two ways Vicky and I can help you—including one that costs absolutely nothing.

Then the following Thursday, we begin again with HORMONES.

Hi! I'm Doc Mac.

I have practiced hormone and weight optimization for over forty-five years. I retired 10 years ago; at least, that is what I thought. When I retired, my wife and I owned and operated several medical clinics specializing in hormone and weight optimization. We discovered that as a woman enters menopause, her hormones become disrupted, causing many women to gain weight rapidly, and no matter what they do, not be able to lose it. If that has happened to you, text me at 209-345-9799. I have found that those who text me are serious about creating the body they desire. Once I receive your text, I will find a convenient time for you to speak with me. During our conversation, I will customize a gourmet weight loss menu for you, and tweak it until it works. Our menus have no caloric restrictions or frequency of meals. There is no charge! 👍 Doc

HOW OFTEN DO YOU EAT FISH? That's probably not enough. So here's what we've been told: One of the healthiest eating patterns on the planet is the Mediterranean Diet. You've heard about it. Bread. Wine. Cheese. Olive oil. Whole foods. And fish. The Mediterranean Diet doesn't treat fish as something you order once every few weeks when you're trying to be good. Fish and seafood are part of their eating lifestyle. And there's something about fatty fish that particularly interests me when I'm...

LIVE YOUNGER, LONGER BY WEIGHING YOUR IDEAL WEIGHT LIVER HACK #1 1 THING TO KNOW Your liver doesn't need a “detox.” It needs you to stop feeding it sugar. Sugar is the primary source cause of Fatty Livers. And Fatty Livers are associated with a slew of symptoms associated with eight loss resistance. And the one metabolic problem that involves the liver and concerns me the most is insulin resistance. Our lack of insulin sensitivity, as we age, causes us to be even more resistant to losing...

IF YOUR KNEES FEEL OLD —YOU FEEL OLD She finagled the last weed out of her succulent garden. It was stubborn — her fingers clamped around it, and she rocked back, just a little, using her weight until it gave. She tossed it into her weed bucket, an old five-gallon Tide container, then peered in at the wilted pile. "The weather's changing," she told them, "and soon your kin will go dormant like me. My knees will finally get a reprieve." She planted both hands on her thighs and tried to push up...
